Charter parties are managed as living documents rather than PDFs in a shared drive: key terms, rate structures, laycan windows, and special clauses are extracted into structured data, tracked through negotiation and amendments, and linked to the voyages they govern. Voyage estimates are built from real vessel performance data — speed-consumption curves, port cost history from Smart Operations, and current bunker prices — so the estimate that wins the fixture is the estimate the voyage can actually deliver. Laytime and demurrage calculations run on structured port call event data, applying the charter party's own terms to statements of fact and producing claim-ready calculations with a full evidence trail. And across all of it, AI-assisted fixture analysis surfaces what matters: how a proposed fixture compares against recent market levels, where clause language deviates from your standard terms, and which of the open positions on the desk best matches an incoming cargo enquiry.
